About Cyberpump!

I just wanted to write and say what a great site this is. There is tons of useful information on here. I think I could spend days on here and not make it through all of the information.

Keep up the Great Work!

A visit back to this GREAT ( Tell it like it is brothers.) site was all it took to kick my ass back into gear. In 1999 I was hurt in a work accident in which I suffered a broken pelvis and a broken femur. After the therapist cut me loose and I could progress byond the rubber bands I started lifting weights at my local rec. center. I trained the old way from high school; split routine upper body one day lower body the next mass sets etc..

One day this personal trainer looked over at me and said we have to talk. He told me about two guys, one named Jones and another named Darden and a system called High Intensity Strength Training. My life would never be the same again. Just like Jones he had me throwing up after barbell curls, I hated it but afterwards I loved it. I trained at the same rec. center for years and people always say I look good but nobody takes my advise. People don't understand 5 seconds up 10 seconds down. Anyway the past two years I have been a slacker. I suffered the passing of two family members right after one another . I know it's a pussy excuse, but thats my story and I'm sticking to it. After reading The Steel Spiel I've vowed to be back in the rec. first thing in the morning.

It is nice to find a site dedicated to sane training; the HIT way! In my opinion there is NO other way to sensibly build strength and size.

At home I have webtv, at work I have a i-mac computer. Sometimes I get to look thru many sites on all sorts of weight training. Point being your site is the greatest site I have ever stumbled upon.

It is packed with more information than any site ever seen. Cyberpump is the only site that is listed in my favorite files. One punch of a favorite key (f-4) and I'm at Cyberpump.

Great job to all who contribute to this site. Keep going!

I would like to complement you on what is such a fantastic website and by far the best recource on training information that I have seen. I usually pop in for a look everyday even if its just for the news and updates. I would like to request that you publish some more of the dinosaur files/training methodology as we have so far had part one and I am very keen to learn more. Thanks again for such a brilliant website.

Congratulations for your excellent website.

I'am a beginner body-builder and I really appreciate your "in your face attitude" and the very good advices you're providing. It's very refreshing in the body-building world dominated by false advertising of businesses trying to exploit the lack of knowledge that most of us are guilty of. Keep the good work.

Hi Editor at Cyberpump,

I really enjoy your web site and discover very useful information that I can put to use. If you are still looking for people to interview I would be willing to share my experiences with your readers. I am a 45 year old woman. I am a Registered Nurse here in Victoria, B.C. Canada. I work mainly on the Open Heart Surgical Team - a very fast paced and sometimes stressful environment; but I love it! I am also a bodybuilder and have been for 20 years. I have competed from novice to National level here in Canada, most recently at the 1999 Canadian National Championships. I have since retired from active competition but of course still train to compete! I have recently undertaken a Personal Trainer Certification Course through ISSA and have started my own business. We will see where that leads. If you consider my story interesting to your readers, please contact me. My goal is to encourage everyone, especially women to take up the steel game. It's a great way of life!! Thanks.

Dear editor and everybody else at Cyberpump

I like your cite a lot - so much in fact that I mentioned cyberpump.com in a letter sent to a danish newspaper. My letter was in the paper today (13. april 2000), so it's my sincere hope, that cyberpump will get a lot of hits from new danish fans.

P.P.S. Do I have to mention, that I'm getting great results using HIT.

Keep up the good work

It really is a blessing to have stumbled across your site. After mos. of no gains I'm finally progressing like I had been wanting to but couldn't because of gross overtraining. Besides the progress, the next best thing is how good I'm feeling. I'm no longer dead tired and all those strange aches and pains in my joints and connective tissues have disappeared. Thanks for the advice and keep up the great work. Don't let all the Weider mags continue to pull the wool over the eyes of average Joes everywhere !

Hi,

I was doing research to do an article for a women's fitness magazine and found your article on free weights vs machines. You did a great job. I only hope mine comes out half as articulate:-)

Elisabeth

Dear CP,

I recently read an article in Newsday the daily newspaper on Long Island in New York. There was a brief article about strength training and it mentioned your website. My expectations were low, but I immediately saw I was wrong and found great value in the HIT FAQ. I am 47 years old and have just started working out in a gym for the first time. I have gained a few pointers from people at work, but your site has provided a real road map. I was already tracking my reps and pounds lifted. I plan to move to the techniques I have studied on your site. Thanks again.

Sincerely, JS

Yeah, Sean toohey is the greatest. He really brings things back to the basics. I love his advice about eating big, fresh air, and squats. He really makes you want to do squats. Without his columns I'd probably avoid squats, and not eat nearly enough.
