About Cyberpump!

July 2000

You people need to quit putting so much information on your site! I'm going to get fired! I was thinking of printing some of this content out & dropping it into a binder for easier reference, but the Sierra Club came after me! Seriously, as I said in an email to "Maximum" Bob Whelan, thank you for promoting sanity in a world gone mad. I'm nearing 40 years of age & wish I'd had this information a decade ago, or better yet, when I first began toying with the weights back in high school. Well I guess I have no choice but to maximize the next 40 years & see what happens! Thanks again & keep it up.

Alright something has got to be said. You guys are great. I love this site, and for those of you out there who avoid 20 rep squatting you really don't know what intensity is till you get tunnel vision :)

Hey,

I just wanted to tell you how awesome Cyberpump.com is... I know, I know...you hear it a lot - but there's a reason for it.

Like a lot of other HITters, I strayed for a while, but I came back (thank God). Your site is by far the best source for no-bullshit info. The articles and updates are excellent - I read it every day at lunch.

As long as Cyberpump is around, I'll keep sending my volume training buddies your way. :)

Have a good one,
Adam

I have been a longtime reader of Cyberpump and am truly amazed at what the site has helped me accomplish in lifting weights. Thank you very much for putting together such a professional site that is the best source of lifting information out there. The video clip of Dr. Ken squatting is fantastic, the Arthur Jones classic collection is priceless (yet free on your site), and the Powerlifting FAQ is the best advice out there. Thanks again!

Sincerely,
Markus Saarinen

Sir/Ma'am,

I just wanted to drop a line and tell you how GREAT I think your website is! It has tons of useful information. I tried one of your sample HIT workouts, and when I was done, I was a pile on the floor. I have never been that exhausted after a workout. It just shows that I wasn't pushing myself far enough. Also, I have realized the importance of documenting how much I lift so that I can push myself farther the next time. I know this is the most effective way to workout because it makes sense. I see guys at the gym for hours who are there to feed their egos, but this site cuts through that crap and gives the real info. Get in, push hard and get out. The next time someone criticizes this website just remember the people who can't get enough of it. The best part about HIT training is that average people can do it. Thank you!

This is by far the best website on bodybuilding I have found on the web.

WOW!!! I evaluate sites as an income and I came across yours today. I have been trying to improve my fitness, as I have been inspired by a friend who is a body builder. This site is awesome. A lot of good sound information for those who are trying to get stronger and healthier...safely. Thank YOU!!!

Hey, how's it going? I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that I thought the information you provide your readers is among the sanest, and most accurate available. I know you already knew that. The one thing that really stuck out to me is that you actually care about the people reading your columns. When discussing supplements, you mention the fact that they may or may not harm you. You don't seem like advocates of all the mega dose mentality, and you actually mention food, yes real food. I didn't think people who trained with weights actually ate real food anymore. I was under the impression that you had to consume at least 3 to 4 packs of your average meal replacement a day to actually build muscle. It seems like building your body has become something of a fashion show. No matter what the price to the persons health, they will have ripped abs, or finely detailed inner pecs. One of the craziest things to me is creatine. This substance is so abused it ought to be banned. Sorry to ramble on. You are doing a great job. Keep on sending the message of real food, hard work, adequate rest, and consistency. You are not only building your body, you are building your health as well. Maybe in the future you could do an article about the benefits of weight training on the immune system and other body systems. The list is endless. Thanks................Paul
