This is the famous safe that Paul Anderson used in his 1957 backlift. Bryan Frederick is kneeling beside it for proportion in this September 7, 1995 photo taken in Toccoa, Georgia. The safe weighs approximately 2,300 lbs. Height 20.5" off ground (so 24" if not sunken?). Diameter 24". Circumference 70". Door opening diameter 16". Wall width, according to lock-smith experts 4". This safe has been described by writers, who apparently had not seen it as big, large, huge."
